FRAXEL™ Laser Treatment
Over time, our skin begins to display the effects of aging. Natural factors such as sun exposure, gravity, and hormones can actually speed up the aging process. Our skin begins to break down resulting in fine lines around the eyes and lips, deeper lines and grooves in the brow, and much more. One day we wake up to find that our face no longer has that youthful, vibrant appearance it once had, or that we’d like it to have.

FRAXEL™ Laser Treatment (FLT) is an innovative, non-invasive laser therapy designed to dramatically repair fine lines, wrinkles, and acne scars while improving skin texture and pigmentation - even on delicate skin. It is a proven, safe approach to repairing aging and sun-damaged skin, with many of the benefits of ablative laser skin resurfacing (resurfacing the skin by removing it or vaporizing it), but without the downtime, side effects, and lengthy recovery periods.

Think of your skin as a family portrait or digital photograph in need of high-quality restoration or touch up. Just as a damaged painting is delicately restored one small area at a time, or a photographic image is altered, pixel by pixel, FLT improves your appearance by affecting only a fraction of your skin at a time with thousands of tiny microscopic laser spots.

A novel approach to laser skin treatment, FRAXEL™represents a new science and category of cosmetic skin surgery that offers patients the positive results of ablative laser resurfacing with the low-impact benefits of non-ablative laser or light-based therapies. Unlike the often prolonged healing involved with ablative lasers that remove the top layer of skin, the FLT procedure produces tiny, microscopic sites of thermal impact separated by areas of unaffected, healthy tissue. The spared healthy tissue between treatment zones contains viable cells that promote rapid healing of the outer skin layers.

A typical treatment regime consists of between three to six sessions, which are approximately 30 minutes long, and generally done four weeks apart.

Wrinkles, poor texture, large pores, sun spots, brown spots, scars, melasma, and uneven pigmentation can be treated successfully with the FRAXEL™ laser. Optimal improvement is usually visible in about two to three months.

PhotoRejuvenation
PhotoRejuvenation is a series of Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) treatments that improve the appearance of Rosacea, flushing and sun-damaged skin, age spots, skin texture, and photo aging. Treatment also improves the appearance of mild acne scars, reduces large pores, corrects dark circles around the eyes, and reduces fine lines. Additionally, this exhilarating treatment involves little to no "downtime." Normal activities immediately resume.

During the procedure, an intense light is applied as a series of gentle pulses to the treatment area. Without damaging the skin, the light penetrates the skin and is absorbed by the abnormally dilated vessels or pigmentation. Heat then impairs the targeted vessels or lesions and the body begins a natural healing process. Lesions darken before they flake off or are absorbed by the body.Treatment can take place as frequently as every three weeks.

Chemical Peels
As we age, the accumulated effects of sun exposure, pollutants, acne, and scarring can damage our skin and cause us to look older than we are. Such skin damage can be treated with a chemical peel, a non-invasive procedure designed to promote cell growth and produce smoother, clearer skin.

Chemical peels also are used to treat melasma (a skin condition characterized by irregularly shaped patches of brown skin commonly found on the face and neck), and pre-cancerous changes in the skin. Chemical peels can be performed on the face, neck, chest, arms, hands, and legs.

Chemical Peels are topically applied acids that aid in the restoration and rejuvenation of the skin's surface. They create a uniform and controlled shedding of several layers of the skin. Depending on the nature and depth of the peel, a significant number of layers can be exfoliated allowing new growth to be exposed, creating a fresh, vibrant appearance.

Microdermabrasion
Men, women, and teens all share a common desire: to have healthy, youthful skin.

Microdermabrasion is a non-surgical exfoliating treatment helpful for those unhappy with acne scarring, sun-damaged skin, age spots, freckles, stretch marks, fine lines, scars, and rough skin. Microdermabrasion involves a stream of fine crystals being delivered across the skin’s surface and then being removed via vacuum. The Diamond Tome removes the most superficial layer of the skin while at the same time vacuums the dead skin cells away, uprooting the damaged cells to reveal fresh, invigorated skin. As a result, you will have a smoother texture to the skin. This is called resurfacing, a non-invasive procedure. You can immediately resume your normal activities and your skin will glow after the procedure.

Treatment can be performed on the face, neck, chest, hands, back, elbows, and feet. Microdermabrasion is a safe, therapeutic approach to skin care when used alone, or in combination with other treatments. In the end, skin is restored to a more youthful appearance and, best of all, there is no "downtime." Resume regular activities immediately!
